Children's ABC Campaign Tanzania
In the UK paediatric resuscitation equipment is standard in all UK hospitals and Paediatric Departments. However, in Tanzania many hospitals, health centers and dispensaries do not have the equipment to provide basic life support to children and neonates. Therefore Pre-Hospital Care UK is supporting the National Government Educational program for Acute Paediatric Care, to see that this equipment reaches the right places. The money to buy the first set of Paediatric Life Support Equipment was donated by Pre-Hospital Care UK to the Regional Hospital I visited. JEMA, a certified non-profit NGO in Tanzania are partnering with us to make sure that these goals are being met in the field.
