Review
This diploma is open to Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics who have evidence of 1 years experience in Pre Hospital Emergency Care.
It is run by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
The exam is held on one day three times a year. It is in two parts: A theory paper comprising questions on projected material,
multiple-choice, short answers and a written incident scenario exercise; 2 vivas assessing core skills and a clinical incident scenario.
The diploma is a culmination of knowledge and skills learnt encompassing ALS, ATLS, MIMMS, PHEC, disaster relief and Pre Hospital Experience.
